Sets new single-season yardage mark
Moore caught five of 11 targets for 101 yards during Sunday's 33-7 loss to the Saints.
Analysis: Moore, who was targeted early and often with his team playing from behind, finished with his fourth 100-yard game of the season. In the process, he surpassed his career high in receiving yardage set last season and has now flirted with 1,200 yards in each of the last two campaigns. This steady production has come despite many changes to the Panthers' offense, indicating that the third-year man's skillset is an enduring one. Moore will look to take another step forward next season for what…read more

Turns in uninspiring Week 16 effort
Moore recorded five receptions on 10 targets for 37 yards in Week 16 against Washington.
Analysis: Moore commanded double-digit targets for only the second time in his last eight games. However, he lacked any explosive plays as the Panthers largely managed the game and Teddy Bridgewater rarely successfully pushed the ball downfield. As a result, Moore's longest reception of the day went for only 14 yards. He'll look to bounce back in a Week 17 matchup against the Saints.

Excels in return to action
Moore (ankle) brought in six of eight targets for 131 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 24-16 loss to the Packers on Saturday night. He also rushed once for one yard.
Analysis: Moore returned from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury and a stay on the reserve/COVID-19 list in spectacular fashion, putting a punctuation mark on his season-high yardage total with a key 40-yard reception late in the fourth quarter that got the Panthers down to the Packers' 15-yard line. Moore led Carolina's pass catchers in receptions and receiving yards while checking in second only to Curtis Samuel in targets. The 23-year-old appeared to be back to full health, so he'll look to…read more

Clear for Saturday
Moore (ankle) had his roster exemption lifted Thursday, clearing him for Saturday's game in Green Bay, per the NFL's transaction report.
Analysis: Moore was included on the Panthers' last two Week 15 practice reports as limited for a non-injury-related reason, likely as a way to ease him back in after a stay on the reserve/COVID-19 list and the ankle injury that he suffered before the Panthers' Week 13 bye. Now that he'll be available, he could be in line for a bit more work than usual with the status of Curtis Samuel (hamstring) in question for Saturday.

Will play this week
Coach Matt Rhule said Moore (ankle) will play in Saturday's game against the Packers, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Moore sprained his ankle prior to the Panthers' Week 13 bye, then landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of the team's Week 14 loss to the Broncos. After sitting out that contest, he was removed from the list Wednesday, returning to practice as a limited participant. The Panthers are listing Moore's limitations as "non-injury-related," so he should be ready for his usual workload this weekend.

Back at practice
The Panthers activated Moore (ankle) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Moore is set to practice Wednesday, but the extent of his activity won't be known until the Panthers release their first Week 15 report later in the day. The report will also clarify whether the wideout is past an ankle issue that he had been dealing with prior to landing on the COVID list. In the last two games he suited up, Moore combined for 11 catches for 188 yards on 20 targets.

Expected to come off COVID list
Moore (ankle) is expected to be removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list in time for Saturday's game against the Packers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Moore missed last weekend's 32-27 loss to the Broncos while on the COVID list, but it looks like he's on track to rejoin teammates in the near future. The 23-year-old hasn't actually had a chance to resume practicing since suffering a sprained ankle Week 12, but it appears as though his physical health has been trending upward.

Not expected to play
Moore (ankle) isn't likely to be removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list before Sunday's game against the Broncos, according to David Newton of ESPN.com.
Analysis: Fellow wide receiver Curtis Samuel was removed from the list Friday, along with LB Shaq Thompson and DL Derrick Brown. On the other hand, Moore and DT Zach Kerr remain on the list, so they may not be able to play Sunday. Between the Week 13 bye and his current issue, Moore hasn't had a chance to practice since he sprained his ankle at the end of Carolina's Week 12 loss to Minnesota.

Ankle trending in right direction
Coach Matt Rhule said Monday that Moore, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, is trending in the right direction in terms of rehabbing his ankle, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: Moore appears to have made the most of Carolina's bye week while working to recover from his sprained ankle, but it'll be a moot point as far as his Week 14 availability goes unless he can also return from the COVID list. If Moore is deemed a close contact and is able to return negative tests for five consecutive days, he could be eligible to return in time for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Fellow starting wideout Curtis Samuel (undisclosed) also hit the COVID list Monday.

Hitting COVID-19 list
The Panthers will place Moore (ankle) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Moore's status for Week 14 was already up in the air due to an ankle injury, and his placement on the COVID-19 list represents a significant new hurdle ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos. Unless the third-year wideout is able to clear all the protocols prior to the contest, as well as prove his ankle is in good shape, the Panthers will be forced to proceed without a key offensive weapon. Could return after bye
Coach Matt Rhule said that Moore (ankle) isn't ruled out to return against Denver in Week 14, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: Moore was forced out of Sunday's narrow loss to the Vikings late in the fourth quarter, after he landed awkwardly on his right ankle while trying to adjust to an overthrown deep ball in the end zone. The third-year wideout has since had X-rays done Monday, the results of which revealed that he's avoided any sort of severe injury, such as a fracture. If he's able to make substantial progress during Carolina's Week 13 bye, it appears possible that Moore could avoid missing any time.

Injures ankle Sunday
Moore injured his right ankle near the end of Sunday's 28-27 loss at Minnesota, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: On third-and-goal just after the two-minute warning, Moore landed awkwardly on his right leg after attempting to make a leaping grab in the end zone. He required assistance to get off the field and was unable to return, ending his day with four catches (on nine targets) for 61 yards. The Panthers have a Week 13 bye on tap, so Moore will have two weeks to recover before the team's next game, which will come Sunday, Dec. 13, against the Broncos.

Excellent chemistry with Walker
Moore secured seven of 11 targets for 127 yards in the Panthers' 20-0 win over the Lions on Sunday. He also rushed once for 21 yards.
Analysis: A week after a resurgent 96-yard receiving effort against the Buccaneers, Moore one-upped himself while pacing the Panthers in receiving yardage and targets. The 23-year-old recorded a game-high 52-yard grab along the way while displaying a strong connection with spot starter P.J. Walker. Moore's 100-yard receiving effort was only his second of the season, with the other having come Week 2 versus Tampa Bay. Paces pass catchers in loss
Moore brought in four of seven targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 46-23 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: The third-year pro equaled his combined catch total from the prior two games with Sunday's haul, while also exceeding his yardage tally from that span by 23 yards. The latter figure also led the Panthers for the afternoon, with the highlight of the contest coming on a 24-yard touchdown scamper off a receiver screen late in the first quarter. Moore's score was his first since Week 7, and he'll look to stay hot in a Week 11 battle against the vulnerable Lions defense.

Second straight disappointing game
Moore secured two of three targets for 18 yards in the Panthers' 33-31 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.
Analysis: Moore was a forgotten man in the passing game despite Teddy Bridgewater putting the ball up 49 times, leading to the receiver's second straight underwhelming effort. Moore now has back-back two-catch tallies, while his target count Sunday qualified as his lowest of the campaign. The return of Christian McCaffrey, who drew 10 targets, played a part in Moore's downturn in involvement Sunday, and with the star back having suffered a rib injury in the closing seconds of the contest, it's possible…read more

Quiet until late in loss
Moore brought in two of six targets for 55 yards in the Panthers' 25-17 loss to the Falcons on Thursday night.
Analysis: Moore was uncharacteristically blanked until the 2:58 mark of the fourth quarter, when he made a 13-yard grab on the first play of the Panthers' final possession. Moore would also come down with a clutch 42-yard catch in traffic with just 1:47 remaining for his second and final reception of the night. Pair of scores in Week 7 loss
Moore secured four of five targets for 93 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers' 27-24 loss to the Saints on Sunday.
Analysis: Despite checking in third in receptions on the team for the afternoon, Moore set the pace in receiving yards, largely due to a game-long 74-yard grab that went for an early second-quarter touchdown. He added a seven-yard scoring catch shortly before halftime, with the pair of trips to the end zone counting as his second and third of the campaign. Paces team in receiving Week 6
Moore secured five of his 11 targets for 93 receiving yards during Sunday's 23-16 loss to Chicago.
Analysis: The 23-year-old wideout has been coming on strong following a slow start to the 2020 campaign, as he has amassed exactly 93 receiving yards in each of his past two outings after only once surpassing 65 yards between Weeks 1 and 4. Moore has just one touchdown through the first six weeks of the season, though he wasn't necessarily being counted on for rampant TD production after scoring four times on 87 receptions a year ago. Secures first TD catch of 2020
Moore caught four of five targets for 93 receiving yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 23-16 win against the Falcons.
Analysis: The 2018 first-round pick continues to play second fiddle to Robby Anderson in the Carolina passing attack, as Anderson was two targets short of tripling Moore's share against Atlanta. Regardless, Sunday's outing is encouraging for GMs with investment in Moore, as he corralled his first touchdown from Teddy Bridgewater while registering his second-highest yardage total of 2020. Season low in receiving
Moore caught four of his six targets for 49 receiving yards during Sunday's 31-21 win against the Cardinals.
Analysis: The Maryland product enjoyed a lucrative Week 2 outing against Tampa Bay, racking up eight catches for 120 yards on his 13 targets. In Moore's other three appearances of 2020, however, the 23-year-old wideout has accumulated 3.3 catches and 56 receiving yards per contest -- certainly not pedestrian production in the fantasy realm, but averages that would land him well short from his 87-catch, 1,175-yard campaign of 2019. Makes two catches
Moore caught two of four targets for 65 yards during Sunday's 21-16 win over the Chargers.
Analysis: Moore struggled to break loose against a talented Chargers defense, although he did post a pair of big gains for all of his production on the day. The switch to Teddy Bridgewater under center has produced mixed results for Moore, who piled up 120 yards on eight catches a week ago and is still on pace for over 1,200 receiving yards through three games. He will look to get back on track next Sunday in what should be a more favorable matchup against the Cardinals.

Explodes in Week 2 loss
Moore secured eight of 13 targets for 120 yards in the Panthers' 31-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: A week after an underwhelming season-opening effort that saw him post a 4-54-0 line, Moore once again saw plenty of attention heaped on him by new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. To the delight of fantasy managers, the results were markedly different, with Moore posting game-high totals in receiving yardage and targets while tying for second in receptions. Held quiet in Week 1
Moore saw nine targets but managed only four receptions for 54 yards in Week 1 against the Raiders.
Analysis: Moore led the team with nine targets, but both Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel saw only one fewer opportunity. Moore wasn't particularly efficient when the ball came his way, averaging just six yards per target. He is likely still gaining rapport with new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and will be the focus of opposing defenses' gameplan. That may force him to make some adjustments early on this season, but he'll look to get on track in a Week 2 matchup against the Buccaneers.

Surrounded by new faces
Moore is one of the few key holdovers from 2019 for a Panthers team that underwent huge changes in the offseason, ESPN.com's David Newton reports.
Analysis: The new faces include coach Matt Rhule, OC Joe Brady, QB Teddy Bridgewater and WR Robby Anderson, while the crucial departures on offense were TE Greg Olsen, WR Jarius Wright and QBs Kyle Allen and Cam Newton. The switch from Allen to Bridgewater could prove especially fruitful for Moore, who largely made a living on short and intermediate throws during a breakout 2019 campaign. Won't play Sunday
Moore (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Max Henson of the Panthers' official site reports.
Analysis: Moore was spotted working out on the side during practice Friday, but the Panthers still determined he wasn't on track to clear the NFL's concussion protocol in advance of Sunday's game. Shaky quarterback play wasn't enough to prevent Moore from enjoying a second-year breakout, with the 2018 first-round pick catching 87 passes for 1,175 yards and four touchdowns on 135 targets in 15 games. Moore (concussion) worked out on the side during Friday's practice, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: Moore's presence at practice hints toward some progression in the concussion protocol, but since he still wasn't working out with the Panthers' main group, he's looking likely to go down as a non-participant for the third consecutive day. Not practicing Thursday
Moore (concussion) wasn't spotted at Thursday's practice, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Moore is set to go down as a non-participant on the Panthers' first two Week 17 practice reports, indicating he hasn't made much notable progress through the NFL's five-step concussion protocol since sustaining the head injury in Sunday's loss to the Colts. The Panthers have little at stake in the season finale against the Saints, so there's a good chance that Moore ends up sitting out the contest even if his concussion symptoms dissipate as the weekend approaches.

Fails to practice Wednesday
Moore (concussion) is listed as a non-participant Wednesday on the Panthers' estimated practice report, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: As his lack of listed activity suggests, Moore remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, per Getzenberg. Moore still will have two more opportunities to log some practice activity this week but will ultimately need to receive clearance from an independent neurologist to suit up in Sunday's season finale against the Saints.

Still in protocol for head injury
Moore remains in the concussion protocol as of Tuesday, Max Henson of the Panthers' official site reports.
Analysis: Moore left Carolina's Week 16 loss at Indianapolis and eventually entered the protocol, so it's no surprise he still remains there two days later. According to Joe Person of The Athletic, Moore also wasn't spotted during the open portion of Tuesday's unofficial practice. The receiver seems to be trending in the wrong direction for an appearance Sunday against the Saints, but his activity level, if any, won't be revealed until the release of Wednesday's injury report.

Moore entered the concussion protocol in the midst of Sunday's game in Indianapolis.
Analysis: Moore managed just one catch (on two targets) for one yard before his departure. He broke off a long gain of 22 yards and was used consistently with Carolina playing from behind all game. Moore has now topped the 100-yard mark four times over the last seven contests and is averaging an impressive 101.6 yards per game during that span. Analysis: Moore turned the tide with a 51-yard touchdown in the first quarter after New Orleans jumped out to a 14-0 lead. He later helped Carolina finally pull even with a two-yard score in the fourth.
