Team's leading receiver in Year 2
Meyers caught six of seven targets for 68 yards and threw a 19-yard touchdown in Sunday's 28-14 win over the Jets. He also rushed once for seven yards in the season finale.
Analysis: Meyers spent his freshman season at NC State as a quarterback before converting to wide receiver, and he showed off his passing skills on a trick play in the third quarter, finding Cam Newton for the game-tying touchdown. He finishes the season as New England's leader in both catches (59) and receiving yards (729), but Meyers is yet to catch a touchdown through two NFL seasons. The Patriots will likely look to upgrade their underwhelming receiving corps in the offseason, but Meyers should be a…read more

Makes four grabs
Meyers caught four of six targets for 45 yards in Monday night's 38-9 loss to the Bills.
Analysis: Meyers led the Pats in receiving on a night when the team made an in-game quarterback change from Cam Newton to Jarrett Stidham, with neither QB proving to be effective. Given that dire situation, it's tough to rely on Meyers for production, but his status atop New England's depth chart as well as a favorable matchup against the Jets at least offers some promise ahead of Week 17.

Eclipses century mark
Meyers reeled in seven of 10 targets for 111 yards and lost one fumble during Sunday's 22-12 loss to Miami.
Analysis: Meyers' third-quarter giveaway didn't come back to haunt New England, as the Dolphins were forced into a punt just three plays later. With that in mind, the 24-year-old's Week 15 outing will go down as one of his most impressive of the 2020 campaign, as he eclipsed the century mark in receiving for the second time this season. A Week 16 matchup against Buffalo could allow Meyers to expand on a noteworthy Week 8 performance in a loss to the division rivals in which he notched six catches for 58…read more

Serviceable night in loss
Meyers brought in four of five targets for 47 yards in the Patriots' 24-3 loss to the Rams on Thursday night.
Analysis: The second-year wideout managed to put together a serviceable night relative to opportunity, recording multiple receptions for the eighth straight contest. Meyers hasn't come close to matching the career-best 12 receptions and 169 yards he generated versus the Jets in Week 9, but he's posted a 19-211 line on 27 targets in the subsequent five contests, acceptable numbers considering how erratic Cam Newton's play has been under center. With Jarrett Stidham replacing Newton late in Thursday…read more

Does little with six targets
Meyers caught two of six targets for 15 yards during Sunday's 45-0 win over the Chargers.
Analysis: Meyers accounted for nearly a third of the team's targets but gained positive yardage on only one play as the running game and defense took center stage in the blowout. He came into the game having topped 50 yards in five of his last six games, and his relative lack of production in this one can mostly be attributed to the lopsided score. With that said, Meyers will be hard-pressed to produce big numbers in Thursday's matchup against the talented Rams secondary.

Leading receiver in Week 12 win
Meyers caught five of six targets for a team-high 52 yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over Arizona.
Analysis: Meyers accounted for more than half of quarterback Cam Newton's 84 passing yards as the Patriots relied on the defense and a pair of James White rushing touchdowns to carry them to victory. While Meyers is still in search of his first career touchdown, he has eclipsed 50 receiving yards in five of his last six games heading into a Week 13 date with the Chargers.

Down day despite Newton's success
Meyers caught all three of his targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to Houston.
Analysis: Cam Newton threw for 365 yards but didn't pay much attention to his favorite target from recent weeks. Meyers finished fifth on the team in receiving yards and tied for fourth in targets, while Damiere Byrd paced the team with 132 receiving yards and a touchdown. Meyers will likely draw the attention of top Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson in Week 12, which will make the No. 1 receiver in New England's inconsistent-at-best passing attack a risky option coming off this disappointing outing.

Clearly Newton's top option
Meyers caught five of seven targets for 59 yards while also throwing a 24-yard touchdown on his lone passing attempt in Sunday's 23-17 win over Baltimore.
Analysis: Meyers scored his first NFL touchdown in the 22nd game of his professional career, but it did not come the way most would have expected. The former high-school quarterback received a backwards pass from Cam Newton before planting his feet and throwing a Russell Wilson-esque rainbow that fell into Rex Burkhead's bread basket in the end zone. The trick play was a treat to witness, but the important news for fantasy owners was that Meyers paced all Patriot receivers in targets, catches and…read more

Career-best performance in win
Meyers caught 12 of 14 targets for 169 yards in Monday night's 30-27 win over the Jets.
Analysis: He put together by far the best showing of his young career, accounting for the majority of Cam Newton's 274 passing yards. Meyers was targeted on 40 percent of Newton's 35 attempts, and caught nearly everything thrown his way. Although his longest reception went for 33 yards, Meyers' most important play came on a 20-yard reception that put New England in range for the game-winning field goal with three seconds remaining. Following such a great performance, Meyers' stock is undoubtedly on the…read more

Leading receiver in Week 8 loss
Meyers caught six of 10 targets for 58 yards and added a two-point conversion in Sunday's 24-21 loss to the Bills.
Analysis: Meyers has emerged as the favorite target for struggling quarterback Cam Newton with Julian Edelman (knee) and N'Keal Harry (concussion) both unavailable, leading the team in targets, catches and receiving yards. None of Meyers' gains went for more than 16 yards, but he caught a key two-point conversion to tie the score in the third quarter. Meyers should continue to play a prominent role on his 24th birthday against the porous Jets secondary in Week 9.

Extended snaps await Week 8
Meyers is expected to pick up extra snaps Sunday against the Bills with Julian Edelman (knee) set to miss the contest, Dave Green of NBC Sports Boston reports.
Analysis: The Patriots' No. 4 receiver heading into last week's game against the 49ers, Meyers was thrust into a larger role after starter N'Keal Harry left the contest early with a concussion. Meyers proceeded to play 79 percent of the offensive snaps in the 33-6 loss, finishing the day with four receptions for 60 yards on six targets. With Edelman being ruled out, Meyers should hold down a regular spot in three-wide sets for the second straight game, and the North Carolina State product could have an…read more

Leads team in receiving yards
Meyers caught four of six targets for 60 yards and carried one time for two yards during Sunday's 33-6 loss to the 49ers.
Analysis: Meyers hadn't seen action in over a month coming in, but he found a way to lead the team in all major receiving categories despite Cam Newton finishing with under 100 passing yards on the day. Newton was ultimately benched in favor of Jarrett Stidham after his third turnover, and Meyers managed to snare a pass from him as well. Given the team's struggles under center and Meyers' inactivity for much of the season, he won't take a great deal of fantasy appeal into next Sunday's meeting with the…read more

Sees just seven snaps Week 1
Meyers was on the field for seven of a possible 64 snaps on offense in Sunday's 21-11 win over the Dolphins, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Meyers, who was not targeted Week 1, has limited fantasy value so long as he remains behind Julian Edelman, N'Keal Harry and Damiere Byrd in New England's wide receiver pecking order.

Catches 26 passes as a rookie
Meyers finished the 2019 regular season with 26 catches (on 41 targets) for 359 yards in 15 games.
Analysis: Meyers stuck around after making the team as an undrafted rookie and even managed to log a few PPR-worthy efforts in the process. The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder probably did enough to make the team again in 2020, but it's possible he'll have to fight to keep his slot in New England's wide receiver corps, depending on the team's offseason moves.

Hauls in three passes Sunday
Meyers was on the field for 14 of a possible 73 snaps on offense in Saturday's 24-17 win over the Bills, en route to catching all three of his targets for 25 yards.
Analysis: Mohamed Sanu (70), Julian Edelman (52) and N'Keal Harry (37) all saw more snaps than Meyers in Week 16, and in such a context Meyers will be a speculative fantasy option in both Week 17 and the NFL postseason.

Relegated to special teams
Meyers was not targeted during Sunday's 34-13 win over Cincinnati and logged just seven offensive snaps during the contest.
Analysis: Meyers was averaging 51.7 yards per game over his prior three outings, but New England went in a different direction Sunday. The Patriots are notorious for changing things up to suit the week's matchup, but -- after recording just one catch in Week 14 -- Meyers' seven offensive snaps Sunday seem like part of a downturn. He's a very tough play Saturday, especially against Buffalo's third-ranked pass defense.

Catches 35-yard pass
Meyers was on the field for 38 of a possible 67 snaps on offense in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Chiefs, en route to hauling in one of his three target for 35 yards.
Analysis: Looking ahead, Meyers profiles as a hit-or-miss fantasy option, as QB Tom Brady has yet to develop a consistent rapport in the passing game with anyone other than Julian Edelman and running back James White.

Targeted seven times in Week 13
Meyers was on the field for 61 of a possible 87 snaps on offense in Sunday's 28-22 loss to the Texans.
Analysis: Meyers caught three of his seven targets for 46 yards Sunday, but looking ahead, he could see his workload reduced once Mohamed Sanu (19 snaps) and Phillip Dorsett (22 snaps) are closer to 100 percent.

Catches four passes for 74 yards
Meyers logged 54 of a possible 70 snaps on offense in Sunday's 13-9 win over the Cowboys, en route to catching four passes on nine targets for a season-high 74 yards.
Analysis: Meyers' increased involvement in the Patriots offense was the result of both Phillip Dorsett (concussion) and Mohamed Sanu (ankle) being inactive Sunday. Rookie N'Keal Harry also saw added work Week 12, recording 57 offensive snaps and turning his only catch (on four targets) into a 10-yard TD. Meyers' fantasy import in next Sunday's game against the Texans hinges on the status of Dorsett and Sanu, but he's at least demonstrated that he can produce when afforded ample playing time.

Targeted twice in win
Meyers caught one of his two targets for a seven-yard gain during Sunday's 17-10 win over the Eagles.
Analysis: He followed up a one-snap, no-target outing in Week 9 with a 19-snap, one-catch game against the Eagles. Granted, that total is far from noteworthy from a fantasy perspective, but Meyers has shown to be serviceable when given the opportunity -- especially as an undrafted rookie. He may get that opportunity in Week 12 with the Patriots potentially missing Phillip Dorsett (concussion) and with Mohamed Sanu (ankle) not 100 percent. Depending on their health, Meyers could see a few more targets…read more

Sees just one snap in Week 9
Meyers logged just one of a possible 67 snaps on offense in Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Ravens.
Analysis: The Patriots ran plenty of three-receiver sets Sunday, but turned almost exclusively to Julian Edelman, Mohamed Sanu and Phillip Dorsett on that front. Meyers thus slots in no higher than New England's No. 4 option at the position, and he could drop another notch once rookie N'Keal Harry re-joins the mix, possibly as soon as Week 11, following the team's bye week..
